Our Trusted Staff
LARRY FINMAN, CEO
Larry is an adventurer. In 2002, he returned to Tucson after 15 years of
work in Columbia, South America, Honduras, Central America, and Saudi Arabia. Needing direction,
Larry started Finman & Associates, Inc., an engineering consulting firm that provides services
to the mining industry throughout the southwest. Even though the company is still going strong
today, Larry still found time for greater challenges. A friend of his had a conversion van in
for repair at ADAPT Mobility. The friend laminted that numerous attempts had been made, but it
still sat in the shop. So Larry stopped by, applied his 38 years of mechanical engineering expertise
to the project, and found that the high-tech systems were flawed. He revamped the necessary components
and got his friend on the road again. For Larry, the realization that adequate repair for special
needs vehicles was limited and the availability of good, sound pre-owned vehicles were scarce
was something he wanted to correct. So Larry bought ADAPT Mobility and created a new company,
Special Needs Vehicles, Inc. It was a good match. Providing individualized high tech driving
systems for those with challenges gives Larry and the team at SNV immence gratification. Being
able to design a way for someone to drive and restablish their mobility and independence inspires
their day. |

AMY BARKER, QAP Coordinator
A lifetime Tucsonian, Amy began her relevant career at an automobile dealership as a service
department manager. Before that, she was a teacher's assistant for children with special needs.
So the combination makes her a perfect fit for SNV. She loves her job, helping people dot all
the I's and cross all the t's required by the motor vehicle department in procuring a vehicle
from SNV. In short, she gets people on the road! On the private side, Amy loves to read Suspense
novels, bake, and communicate with her two pet fish, Baby and Rosey. She's crazy about baking,
and single-handedly kept her father in baked goods during his recent stay in Iraq, courtesy of
Uncle Sam. Amy aspires to one day open her own chocolate shop, creating unique chocolates with
her own secret recipe (don't ask, she won't tell!)

KARA JAMES, Aministrative Assistant
Originally from Lancaster, Pennsylvania, Kara moved to Tucson with her family in 1996 (kicking
and screaming) at the petulant age of 12. Kara's mother homeschooled her through those turbulant
teens and she has grown to love the arid desertscape. Professionally, Kara has immerced herself
in sales, customer service and various managerial positions, making her a natural in her present
job. It is she who keeps Larry on target, organized, and the guy-in-the-know. Outside the office,
Kara is active in her church, co-leading a singles Bible study, active with the high school department,
and worship team co-leader. She loves music, playing piano, bass guitar, acoustic guitar and
drums (not all at once). She hopes to expand her fledgling skills as a creative writer and a
creator of music one day, but for now she's content to find joy in the moment. Her long-range
goals include traveling to faraway places like Jamaca and Africa and experiencing the world first-hand.

SCOTT CREEGER, Master Technician
Scott is from Michigan but has lived in Arizona for over fifteen years. He has a vast repetoire
working on vehicles: both at large dealerships and smaller offices like ours. He attends training
at our manufacturer's facilities and always passes with flying colors. He has been a part of
Special Needs Vehicles since February 2003. He is a perfectionist... and we hope he will be at
SNV for a very long time.

PAUL WOODWARD, Customer Relations
Paul comes to SNV with lots of experience under his belt. For 10 years Paul was the top
performer in PPIC, an international racing firm, stationed outside of London, England. After
having survived a plane crash in 1992, Paul realized that he needed a career change. So he moved
to sunny Tucson to hang out with friends and find himself. He emerged as a stellar salesman for
Jim Click Ford, learning the art of mechanics on the side. But Paul wanted a more personalized
career, and when he met Larry on the Click lot, the two found common ground. Larry offered Paul
a job he couldn't refuse and he's been happily working for the company since 2004. In his spare
time Paul likes to practice for triathalons, buy antiques for his five-bedroom townhome, and
play with his six golden retreivers.
